The Roslyn Cemetery is made up of twenty-seven cemetery communities, each having its own rich and unique history. Together they form the Roslyn Cemetery Complex and exemplify the dynamic and influential past that belongs to Roslyn, WA and the greater Kittitas County area.

Roslyn, Ronald & Cle Elum Washington - Honoring the many, diverse cultures who came together in this beautiful area on the east slopes of the Cascades, each in pursuit of their piece of the American dream. Settlers in the late 1800’s created several towns that thrived on numerous coal mines, timber and other pursuits. Although the mines closed long ago, our club seeks to keep that rich and diverse heritage alive.

Ruddell or Pioneer Cemetery is located in the city of Lacey at the intersection of Ruddell Road SE and Mullen Road SE. The cemetery was established about 1850 on donated land that was once part of the Stephen D. Ruddell Donation Land Claim. There were a few graves here before 1850. The iron fence and gate was donated by Mr. Gwin Hicks, an early State Printer. There are many unmarked graves here, and several graves of unknown persons.

The Seattle Genealogical Society empowers individuals to discover their family histories through education, collaboration, and preservation. They offer classes, workshops and seminars; compile and publish research materials; and maintain a computer-equipped library open to the public.
Skagit Valley Genealogical Society (Burlington WA)
The Skagit Valley Genealogical Society was founded in Mount Vernon, Washington in January 1987. This society is a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization open to all persons interested in genealogical and historical research in Skagit County. They are located in Northwest Washington State, approximately 50 miles south of the Canadian border and 60 miles north of Seattle.
Sons of the American Revolution
The SAR, the largest male lineage organization in the U.S., consists of 50 societies with more than 500 local chapters, several international societies and over 34,000 members. SAR is dedicated to assisting our members, schools, teachers and the general public in their efforts to sustain and preserve our history and constitutional principles. Membership requires a lineal connection to an ancestor who provided service to the cause of American Independence. The SAR accepts service rendered, with some exceptions, for the period between 19 April 1775 and 26 November 1783.
