City of Lacey Museum
The Lacey Museum's primary mission is to collect, interpret, and display historical materials that illustrate the history of the Lacey area in all periods of its development.
In a changing community, the Lacey Museum works to preserve and interpret Lacey history and identity. Through exhibits, educational programs, and research archives, the museum tells the story of Lacey's past, present, and future.

The mission of the Mason County Historical Society is to collect, preserve and publish the history of Mason County. The Mason County Historical Society Museum is located in downtown Shelton.
Olympia Historical Society
The Olympia Historical Society was founded in 2001 with the vision to collect and preserve Olympia area historical resources, from family attic treasures to architectural gems, and to find ways to make that history accessible and available to the public. The Bigelow House Preservation Association was formed in 1992, dedicated to preservation of Bigelow House and interpretation of local and regional history. In December 2013, the memberships of both organizations voted to merge and become the Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum (Society and Museum).
Olympia Tumwater Foundation
The Olympia Tumwater Foundation honors both the history and future of Thurston County through its commitment to a wide range of community projects including student scholarships, historic preservation, and stewardship of Tumwater Falls Park. Through such civic involvement, the Foundation continues the tradition of philanthropy and responsible citizenship established by the Schmidt family and the Olympia Brewing Company.
Roslyn Ronald Cle Elum Heritage Club
Roslyn, Ronald & Cle Elum Washington - Honoring the many, diverse cultures who came together in this beautiful area on the east slopes of the Cascades, each in pursuit of their piece of the American dream. Settlers in the late 1800’s created several towns that thrived on numerous coal mines, timber and other pursuits. Although the mines closed long ago, our club seeks to keep that rich and diverse heritage alive.
Squaxin Island Tribe Museum Library
The Squaxin Museum preserves the culture, identity and traditions of the Squaxin Island Tribe through revitalization programs in a return to our role throughout the Squaxin Island Tribe's usual and accustomed territories (Purdy, Allyn, Shelton, Steamboat Island, Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey), ... in place since time immemorial.
Tumwater Historical Association
The Tumwater Historical Association (THA) was incorporated on October 2, 1981 with 200 charter members as a nonprofit organization. The Association is governed by an 10-member board of directors. THA conducts its general membership meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Tumwater Timberland Library from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. From the beginning and until 1991, THA operated the Henderson House Museum for the City of Tumwater. During those 10 years, THA had many accomplishments:
