Lacey Museum Grand Opening

The new Lacey Museum will host a grand opening event at the museum on June 13 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  OGS is excited for the museum opening as it will be the new home of our physical collection of genealogical resources from across the United States and around the world.

From the museum team:

The Lacey Museum team would like to invite you to our grand opening event Saturday, June 13th 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Join us for a day of history, tours, free crafts, and more!

We kick things off at 10 a.m. for a ribbon cutting and a few words from Lacey Parks, Culture and Recreation Director, Jennifer Burbidge and Museum Curator, Erin Quinn Valcho. Button making and rock painting craft stations will be open 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will also have live music and a roving magician in the space. See here for a full schedule of event times.

We look forward to seeing you at the museum!
