February 2026 General Meeting

David McDonald: For Whom Are You Writing? A Guide to Genealogy Compilations

A recording and handout from the meeting were available to OGS members for one month after the meeting.

PROGRAM:

Many genealogists hope to share the results of their findings by compiling written narratives of their genealogical materials. We'll look at the process of writing, establishing the scope of the project, and determining how and in what form you may want to publish your findings.

SPEAKER:

A past president of the Board for Certification of Genealogists and the Association of Professional Genealogists, Dave has taught at genealogical institutes across the country.
