Annual Holiday Party 2025

Join us for our annual holiday party! OGS members and their immediate family are welcome. Please bring your contributions of savory and sweet snacks for our potluck (please, no items that require refrigeration). OGS will provide paper goods, cutlery and beverages (or bring your own).

We could use volunteers for set up at 12:30 pm and for clean up after 3 pm. Hope to see you all there!

This year we will have a special treat: live traditional Scandinavian music by Jeff Anderson and Jane Johnson. According to Fiddler magazine: "Jeff is a stellar example of Norwegian-American music that was once played across the northern United States but is now dying out."

Our February speaker (Billie Stone Fogarty) wants to know what states OGS members are interested in for doing research in school census records. Tell Diana Bargmann at the party (by January 15) of any states you'd be interested in hearing about.
