FamilySearch SIG
Log on to the OGS website and select the “FamilySearch.org SIG” sub-menu under the “SIGs” menu. The Google Meet link will be shown on the FamilySearch.org SIG page. The link can be accessed 10 mins before the start of the meeting. You may also access meeting by sending an email to Carolyn using address FamilySearchSIG@olygensoc.org. SIG meetings are only available to OGS members.
Drop-In Genealogy (DIG) at Tumwater Library
OGS members will provide one-on-one assistance with genealogical problems or to help those who wish to begin their family trees. Members and non-members are welcome to bring us your questions at this free monthly event. Handouts will be provided. Bring a laptop if you have one.

On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Celebrate Independence Day with your fellow Americans!

Tenino Oregon Trail Days Festival
OGS will have a table at the 2026 Tenino Oregon Trail Days festival. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, come talk to us about your genealogical interests. Members will be on hand to talk genealogy and to tell you about the Olympia Genealogical Society. We serve all communities in Thurston County.
